Atlassian topped the list for companies with more than 100 employees, while Salesforce Australia, McAfee Security and NetApp Australia rounded out the top 10.
Autodesk (13), Adobe (14), Xero (16), Paypal (18), Interactive (19) and SAS institute also made the top 25.
The rankings are determined by combining results from an employee survey, which measures behaviours known to lead to a trusting workplace, with a "culture audit" that gives human resources personnel the chance to express their company's unique culture.
Scores are weighted two-thirds towards the employee survey.
IT companies were also overrepresented in the top 25 companies under 100 employees.

Among them were Ansarada (5), Campaign Monitor (6), Ignia (8), Rackspace (11), InfoTrack (12), Altis Consulting and NetSuite Australia (24).
Xero managing director, Chris Ridd, said his company's Australian offices had grown from a team of seven in Melbourne to 163 employees at five offices across the country in just three years.
"We don't want to become another staid, formal multi-national IT corporation with unnecessary rules and political turf wars," he said.
"That's why we've tried to do things differently -- we don't have closed offices, even for managers, and Friday afternoon jam sessions with the Xero band are a common occurrence."
Xero has tried to make the offices themselves as comfortable and inviting as possible, fitting each out with a pool table, industrial kitchen and open seating plan.

"We're now expanding our Melbourne offices and want to make sure that Xero is a fun place to work," Ridd said.
"Our culture is inviting and passionate, rather than hardlined. Our employees should be a reflection of the company culture."
Kiandra IT managing director, Cameron Brookes, said he was proud to see his company ranked for the sixth year in a row.
"Our culture is an inherent part of our business, yet we still work incredibly hard to maintain and build on our employment brand," he said.
"A key challenge for all organisations is maintaining culture throughout periods of strong growth, and it is with this back-drop that we are especially proud to retain a position on the list," he said.
